Puppies Behind Bars depends on donor contributions to support our program. Help us train more inmates to raise more puppies to be service dogs and explosive detection canines.

Puppies Behind Bars (EIN # 13-3969389) is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations to Puppies Behind Bars are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Puppies Behind Bars has been approved by the Better Business Bureau of New York's Philanthropic Advisory Service and is a participating member of the Combined Federal Campaign and Animal Charities of America.

Donation Types

One Time Contribution - Donate now via online credit card donation, check or by calling PBB.

Monthly Contribution - Donate on a regular basis by setting up a recurring contribution online via www.networkforgood.org

Memorial Gift (Card sent in memory of a loved person or 4-legged friend) - Any donation level

Tribute Gift (Card sent in honor of birthday, wedding, anniversary, etc.) - Any donation level

Puppy Sponsorship $6,000 - Sponsor and Name a Service Dog or Explosive Detection Puppy. Receive quarterly photos and updates written by the inmate puppy raiser distributed through our New York City office. Sponsorships are often gifted in honor of a graduation, birthday, anniversary or in recognition of a loved one.
